Your team
Add the people who work in your business, and assign work to them.
Settings → Team is the list of people who work in your business. It exists so CLEO can hand work to them and speak about them by name: The people who work in your business, so CLEO can assign work to them and name them.
That's the point rather than a limitation: your list should match who actually does the job, not who happens to own a password.
Adding someone
Add a person — A name is enough. They do not need a sign-in.
- Name — required.
- What they do — optional, in your own words:
e.g. Front desk, Physiotherapist, Books the jobs
Press Add person and they're on the team. Someone with nothing written yet reads What they do is not written yet.
You can change either field later from their row, and press Save.
What being on the team gets you
The moment someone is on the list, they can be:
- The owner of a piece of work — chosen when you create it, or on its Details tab afterwards.
- The person an action item is assigned to — Assigned to on any item, and then part of the views that count what's assigned.
That's the whole connection. Work and its stages and Action items both draw their people from here.
The badge beside each name

So can your team sign in? Only someone who already has an account — the ones marked Can sign in. Today CLEO has no screen, here or anywhere else, for giving a team member a sign-in of their own.
If someone does sign in to your business, they see CLEO as you do. There are no partial permissions today: a sign-in is full access to the business side, so it's worth being deliberate about who has one.
Taking someone off, and bringing them back
Take off the team asks first — off the team? Their work is kept, and they can be brought back.

They move into No longer on the team, Kept, with the work they had
, where Bring back restores them.
Nothing they were part of changes. Work they owned still says they owned it; action items assigned to them keep their name; the history reads exactly as it did. They just stop being offered when you assign something new.
You can't take yourself off the team — the option isn't offered on your own row.
